My work centers around the intersection of biology and art, bringing together creative design principles, scientific precision, and majesty of the natural world. Drawing has been a long-time passion of mine, especially when it comes to learning the mechanics of wildlife and mapping out organic environments. I have done a variety of work for clients, from scene layout, character design, educational illustration, to environment studies, medical diagrams, and entomological illustration.
As a lifelong creative fiction writer, I have experience in writing novel manuscripts, scripts (especially as they pertain to graphic novels), poetry, and other short-form work. On the commercial end, my writing work includes science blog writing, social media copy taglines, and drafting infographic copy.
